best giving practices: monetary and in-kind
"We are all responsible for our world. Let us offer hospitality. Our community is large--we have enough to share." |

helping us help others: monetary donations
The Nitty Gritty: Every Campus a Refuge at Agnes Scott College is a campaign run by a 501(c)3 charity organization, so all donations are tax-deductible! For more information about our campaign or the umbrella non-profit started by two Scotties, please e-mail [email protected].
The Fun Part: In addition fundraising to furnish the TWO families' new home, we are accepting monetary donations to help offset the families' utilities, rent, and other expenses. Resettlement is a long and expensive process which includes medical examinations, obtaining healthcare, state ID's, employment authorization documentation (EAD), and many other expenses on top of worrying about rent, feeding your family, learning a new language, adapting to a new country, and trying to acclimate oneself to a new job or new school. Our main objectives through our monetary donation campaign is 1) to make a home out of the empty property donated to us by Agnes Scott College by furnishing and decorating it into a welcoming, healing space for our families, 2) to raise money to cover the utilities of the property (as the rent has been waived for the first six months by our amazing partners at Agnes Scott College!), and 3) to buy the necessary supplies needed for the families' upcoming job searches and new schools!
Help us make their beginnings in America warm and full of healing--donate today!

turning a house into a home: in-kind donation process
Below is the Donation Hub Google Document which is updated as we receive donations. Please scroll through our list of needs and keep in mind that we will be hosting TWO families, so we will need double of most things. To insure the security of the family, we cannot share the exact composition of each family (including ages, sizes, etc.), however, we will be in contact with you concerning your donation and its fit for our families after you fill out our donation form! All donations will either be given directly to our families, donated to the International Rescue Committee, or donated to another Every Campus a Refuge chapter.
Please look over the In-Kind Donation Hub document below, which is updated in real time based on our incoming donations and anticipated needs. If you have an item you wish to donate, click the button below and fill out our in-kind donation form in a separate window.
Thank you for helping us turn Agnes Scott College into a refuge for our two incoming families!
